Head of Operations & Transformation

The Head of Operations & Transformation plays a central role in helping the organization grow in a structured, predictable, and scalable way. This role supports the Transformation & Strategy Office by strengthening internal processes, improving how teams work, and ensuring that key initiatives move from plans into real, measurable outcomes.

The ideal person enjoys bringing order to fast-moving environments, building clarity for teams, and making everyday operations smoother and more consistent.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Turning Strategy into Action

  • Convert transformation goals into clear plans, milestones, and responsibilities.
  • Run the governance rhythm for the TSO — reviews, dashboards, risks, and updates.
  • Support process improvement and modernization efforts across delivery and operations.
  • Track the progress and benefits of transformation programs.

2. PMO & Quality Governance

  • Lead the PMO/QMO functions and ensure teams follow consistent ways of working.
  • Maintain templates, checklists, delivery processes, and quality standards.
  • Strengthen compliance and audit readiness.
  • Build transparent dashboards for delivery performance and operational health.

3. Operational Excellence

  • Improve day-to-day workflows for efficiency and clarity.
  • Support resource planning, utilization visibility, and bench management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using structured methods.
  • Help create a more predictable and scalable operating model.

4. Change & Capability Enablement

  • Support adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Coordinate training plans and capability-building efforts through WHN Academy.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and readiness.

5. People Leadership

  • Lead the PMO, QMO, and operations teams within the TSO.
  • Coach team members on governance, planning, and delivery discipline.
  • Encourage a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in Operations, PMO, Transformation, or Delivery Governance roles.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, quality frameworks, and operational processes.
  • Experience with continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, etc.).
  • Comfortable working across teams, resolving ambiguity, and driving clarity.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile/Scrum.
  • Experience in consulting, IT services, or cloud transformation environments.
