Top Gun - Oracle DBA

Kovaion is looking for a competitive self-starter to be a part of an effective centralized database administration team. This opportunity will suit an Oracle DBA who enjoys providing technical guidance and who can play a key role in supporting and driving forward our database developments.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Administer, maintain, tune, and troubleshoot Oracle databases to provide high availability and reliability to the databases and applications running on them.
  • Work with application teams, product teams, and onshore DBA teams to provision, maintain, and tune Oracle databases.

 

Skills Required:

  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, or any Engineering.
  • Possess a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience.
  • An interest in database management and a collaborative spirit, desire to learn and contribute.
  • Proficiency in any one of the programming languages SQL/PLSQL or structured training in Oracle Database Administration.
  • Good understanding of the underlying operating system AIX/Sun/Linux and Windows.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Strong fundamentals of programming and Database Concepts.
