In the fast-paced world of Human Capital Management (HCM), efficiency and simplicity are key. With the introduction of the Direct Reports Tile in the recent HCM image 47 release, managers can now access both direct and indirect reports without the hassle of maintaining separate security, making their jobs easier and more streamlined.
To access the Direct Reports Tile, go to the Homepage and navigate to Manage Self-service > Team Time Direct Reports tile.

The Direct Reports Tile is built on the Direct Reports for Managers framework, which is already in use with other manager self-service pages. What makes this new feature so impressive is the elimination of the need for maintaining separate security, which used to be a time-consuming and cumbersome task. Now, managers can seamlessly navigate through various components, including time management and absence management, without having to switch between different security settings.

One of the most significant advantages of the Direct Reports Tile is that it simplifies the process of selecting the time reporter. Previously, managers had to choose a time reporter each time they switched between different time and labor or absence management pages. With this new feature, all these pages share the same security, meaning that managers can seamlessly transition from one task to another without any interruptions.

Moreover, the flexibility of the Direct Reports Tile is worth mentioning. Managers have the ability to configure the fields displayed for time reporters, tailoring the information they see to suit their specific needs.
