Enhanced Data Security – PeopleSoft FSCM

The recent updates of Oracle PeopleSoft FSCM and HCM ensure that the functionalities are enhanced to leverage full value of the PeopleSoft investment. The recent Oracle PeopleSoft FSCM PUM releases – FSCM PUM Image 43 and 44 have numerous interesting features!

Data Privacy is all about handling sensitive & personal information. Managing data confidentiality and ensuring appropriate means to protect highly sensitive data from unauthorized access/ view is a growing responsibility for organizations.

With the updated Data Security Rule put in place by NACHA (National Automated Clearing House Association) in 2018, Oracle PeopleSoft FSCM 43 introduced a critical feature which facilitates Encryption/Decryption of Bank Account Number and masking of Bank Account Numbers (when not in use) in all appropriate FSCM tables.

As part of the PeopleSoft FSCM Image 44, Oracle also enhanced the Wallet Entry feature in Fluid to view Enhanced Data loaded during the Load External Data process for the Corporate Card Transactions.
