Roles and Responsibility:

  • Expected to work with the Application Team to identify and fix issues on triggers, indexes, etc during upgrade activities.
  • Will be expected to be fully functional DBAs who can perform traditional DBA activities, independently.

 

Required Skill Set:

  • Should have at least one hands-on in Database Upgrade – 11g to 12c/18c/19c
  • Experience in setting up RAC instances.
  • Experience in Data-guard, OEM, ASM, RAC, and RMAN tasks.
  • Database Migrations from AIX to RHEL/OEL.
  • Should have experience in doing performance tuning by understanding the queries and providing recommendations.
  • Able to define processes for the customer for better DB mgmt. Which would result in better availability, security, and performance.
