Oracle Redwood Experience: How to Create Job Offers in Oracle Recruiting Cloud

Oracle continues to revolutionize the HR experience with its Redwood design system, bringing a modern, intuitive, and intelligent user interface to key processes within Oracle Recruiting Cloud. One of the most impactful enhancements is the Redwood Job Offer creation flow, now built on Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS). This new experience transforms how recruiters create and manage job offers—delivering improved flexibility, automation, and efficiency.

With streamlined navigation, AI-driven assistance, and customizable workflows, the Redwood Job Offer flow makes it easier than ever for recruiters and hiring teams to build accurate, compliant, and competitive offers—faster and with fewer errors. The redesigned interface allows users to work at their own pace, complete required fields first, and return to optional sections later. The integration of AI Agent support ensures users get real-time guidance, reducing downstream issues and improving data accuracy.

In this blog, we’ll walk through the key features, benefits, and setup steps for the Redwood Job Offer flow—and show you how it can elevate your hiring experience in Oracle Recruiting Cloud.

AI Agent Support

In the Redwood job offer creation flow, AI Agent support has been introduced to guide users through the process of creating job offers. The AI Agent can:

  • Answer user queries related to filling out specific fields.
  • Provide clarifications on offer, compensation, and salary policies.
  • Help users complete the offer creation process smoothly without interruptions.
  • Reduce downstream issues by ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Improve overall user efficiency.

As part of the AI Agent setup, you’ll need to upload reference documents (topics) that contain answers to frequently asked questions. Below are some sample queries for guidance:

  • Can I change the hiring manager in the offer team while creating the job offer?
  • I’m transferring an internal employee to a new job. Which action should I select?
  • Can I hire a candidate whose level is higher or lower than what was listed in the job posting?
  • What’s the maximum joining bonus I can offer for a Solution Architect in Phoenix, Arizona?
  • What’s the maximum salary I can offer for a Nurse Practitioner role in Maitland, Florida?
  • Which offer letter should I select for a full-time salaried position in California, United States?

Business Benefits of the Redwood Job Offer Creation Experience in Oracle Recruiting Cloud

Adopting the Redwood Experience for job offer creation goes beyond just a modern UI—it delivers measurable value to recruitment teams, HR leaders, and the broader organization. Here are the key business benefits:

  • Faster Time-to-Offer: The streamlined interface allows recruiters to complete required sections quickly and return to optional fields later. This flexible flow reduces offer creation time, helping organizations make timely offers and secure top talent before competitors do.
  • Improved Recruiter Efficiency: With clearly defined steps, AI-powered guidance, and an intuitive layout, recruiters can navigate the offer creation process with fewer errors and minimal training. Features like real-time preview and smart defaults cut down repetitive tasks and manual corrections.
  • Higher Offer Accuracy and Compliance: AI Agent support helps ensure recruiters follow company policies, compensation guidelines, and job-specific constraints during offer creation. This reduces the risk of non-compliance and avoids downstream rework caused by errors or inconsistencies.
  • Enhanced Candidate Experience: Faster offer turnaround, better document personalization (via offer letter options), and language localization contribute to a more professional and candidate-friendly experience—critical for employer branding and offer acceptance rates.
  • Increased Flexibility for Dynamic Hiring Needs: Recruiters can now customize job offers by choosing which sections to include based on the role, location, or business unit. This modular approach supports varied hiring scenarios—from internal transfers to external executive hires—without unnecessary complexity.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: By integrating compensation, payroll, and assignment data into a cohesive flow, the new UI supports more informed and consistent decision-making across recruitment teams and hiring managers.
  • Scalable for Global and Complex Organizations: Support for multilingual templates, flexible role assignments, and detailed salary/benefit configuration makes the Redwood Job Offer flow ideal for large, matrixed, or international organizations with diverse hiring needs.
  • Future-Ready Talent Operations: Implementing the Redwood Experience aligns your recruiting function with Oracle’s long-term UI and automation strategy. This ensures compatibility with future innovations, system updates, and a consistent user experience across Oracle Cloud HCM.
