Roles and Responsibilities
• Establish the project organization structure, define roles of key team members, and communicate the project plan to align all stakeholders.
• Conduct project kickoff meetings with all key stakeholders to formally initiate the project, review goals and timelines, and gain alignment.
• Monitor and measure project performance using appropriate tools and methodologies; identify variances, initiate corrective actions, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Effectively negotiate priorities across cross-functional teams to ensure business objectives are met.
• Manage changes in project scope, timelines, and costs by maintaining an up-to-date project plan that reflects authorized modifications in line with the change management framework.
• Identify and assess project risks, assumptions, and constraints; develop mitigation strategies to reduce their impact.
• Escalate and communicate development or resource-related challenges to leadership in a timely manner, facilitating effective resolutions.
• Foster collaboration by leading, mentoring, and motivating the project team to drive performance and cohesiveness.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation to ensure visibility and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
• A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in consulting or industry, with a focus on complex program and portfolio management.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with an ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience in project delivery, including configuration, release, and change management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional coordination and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
• Prior experience working with Oracle Fusion HCM.
• Exposure to executive leadership teams in IT or business functions.
• Knowledge of industry-standard project management frameworks and processes such as PMBOK, Prince2, Six Sigma, CMMI, and SDLC.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, Agile CSM, or SAFe.
• Familiarity with master scheduling and integrated project planning tools.
• Experience in enterprise PMO or Lean PMO environments.
