Key Responsibilities
- 1. Accounting and Bookkeeping:
- Oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
- 2. GST Filing and Taxation:
- Prepare and file GST returns accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Assist with income tax, TDS, and other statutory filings.
- 3. Reconciliation:
- Perform periodic bank reconciliations and vendor account reconciliations.
- Reconcile monthly expenses and resolve any discrepancies.
- 4. Expense Management:
- Oversee monthly expense tracking and reporting.
- Prepare detailed expense reports for management review.
- 5. Audit Support:
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Provide necessary documentation and resolve audit queries.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other taxation aspects.
- Experience with account reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, including email drafting and professional correspondence.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
Preferred Experience:
- Candidates with prior experience in an auditor’s office are highly preferred.
