The opportunity

When planning, close and reporting connect,
finance moves at the speed of the business.

Oracle Cloud EPM brings trusted data, connected processes and intelligent forecasting into one place. Here is what that makes possible, every single month.

A close measured in days

Automated journals, orchestrated tasks and live status let you report while the numbers can still shape a decision.

Planning in one connected model

Financial, workforce, capital and operational plans share one driver-based model, so the budget consolidates itself.

Re-forecast in an afternoon

Board questions get answered the same day, with predictive planning showing where the trend is already heading.

Reconciliations that clear themselves

Automated matching absorbs the volume and surfaces only the exceptions genuinely worth a person's attention.

A platform Oracle keeps current

Quarterly innovation arrives without an upgrade project, and there is no infrastructure of your own to run.

One number everyone recognises

Governed hierarchies and shared metadata keep management, statutory and board views telling the same story.

Oracle Cloud EPM capabilities

Nine modules. One connected finance platform.

Start with the process that hurts most, on an architecture that takes the rest without rework. Every engagement is scoped module by module, with a clear business case for each phase.

Hyperion to Oracle Cloud EPM

Your Hyperion investment built the foundation. Oracle Cloud EPM is where it goes next.

Migration is the natural moment to modernise how finance works: simpler close steps, documented rules and clearly owned hierarchies. We move you to Oracle Cloud EPM with the design refreshed for how the business runs today.

On Hyperion today

  • Infrastructure, patching and DR managed by your own team
  • Business rules built up across many years of use
  • A specialist skill set held by a small group of people
  • Upgrades planned and delivered as discrete projects
  • Desktop-centred access and collaboration
  • Integrations built and maintained source by source

+On Oracle Cloud EPM

  • No infrastructure to run; quarterly updates from Oracle
  • Rules re-expressed, documented and owned by finance
  • A broad, current skills base and a supported roadmap
  • Continuous innovation instead of upgrade projects
  • Predictive planning, IPM insights and mobile approvals
  • Governed integration to Oracle and non-Oracle sources
Step 01 Current-state assessment

Inventory applications, rules, integrations, reports and actual usage, including what can be retired.

Step 02 Target design & business case

Module mapping, phased roadmap, licence and effort estimate, and the value case finance can defend.

Step 03 Rebuild & parallel run

Configure in Cloud EPM, migrate history and metadata, then reconcile against Hyperion until results tie.

Step 04 Cutover & decommission

Go live on a close cycle, transfer knowledge, then retire legacy infrastructure and its running cost.

Why Kovaion

Oracle is in our DNA.
Finance is in our brief.

Adoption is what turns an EPM platform into better decisions. We staff engagements with people who can hold a real conversation about your close calendar and your consolidation rules, not only your configuration.

01

Outcome-led from day one

Every design decision is traced to a measurable finance outcome, whether cycle time, accuracy, control or cost, and reviewed against it at go-live.

02

One connected Oracle perspective

EPM rarely lives alone. Our ERP, HCM, APEX, analytics and OCI teams make it work as part of your wider Oracle estate, not beside it.

03

Finance-fluent consultants

Qualified finance professionals alongside certified Oracle EPM consultants, so requirements are challenged properly before they become configuration.

04

Accountable well beyond go-live

Hypercare through a full close cycle, quarterly Oracle update testing, and managed support from the same people who built your model.

The difference was that they argued with us about the close calendar before they touched the configuration. We came out with a shorter close and a process our auditors were comfortable with.
Group Financial Controller Multi-entity manufacturing group · illustrative
Oracle Partner Certified consultants across EPM, ERP, HCM, analytics and OCI.

Oracle EPM, frequently asked

The questions finance leaders actually ask us.

With the process where improvement pays back fastest, usually the close or the annual budget. We assess business priorities, data readiness and process maturity, then recommend a focused first phase that delivers visible value while establishing the architecture, dimensionality and governance the later modules build on.

Our QuickStart puts one module live in twelve weeks, and you see working configuration in fortnightly showcases from week three. An assessment engagement delivers a roadmap and business case in two to three weeks.

A phased roadmap works better. It delivers early value in one priority area while establishing the shared design, metadata and governance foundations that make each later module faster and cheaper to add.

Yes. Oracle Cloud EPM integrates with Oracle and non-Oracle finance, HR, sales, supply chain and operational platforms through Data Integration, REST APIs and file-based patterns. We design governed, repeatable data flows rather than one-off extracts.

We start from leading-practice configuration and tailor only where your business genuinely differs: your allocation logic, your close calendar, your reporting hierarchy. That keeps you aligned to Oracle's quarterly updates and able to adopt them easily.

It's a rebuild, and that's the opportunity. Cloud EPM is a different architecture, so we re-express your rules and models rather than copying them, retiring what's unused, documenting what's kept, and running in parallel until every reported figure reconciles to your existing results.

No. Historical data, metadata and hierarchies are migrated as part of the build, and reporting is rebuilt and reconciled before cutover. We agree the retention and comparability requirements at design stage, not at go-live.

Yes. We assess, optimise, automate and support existing Cloud EPM environments, typically improving close automation, reconciliation coverage, reporting quality, security design and user adoption without a full re-implementation.

Health checks, assessments and QuickStart implementations are fixed fee against a defined scope. Larger programmes are phased, with each phase priced on its own business case. Managed support is a monthly subscription sized to your close calendar and enhancement backlog.

Oracle Cloud EPM subscriptions are licensed directly from Oracle and are separate from our services fees. We size the subscription with you during the assessment so the business case reflects the full cost, and we can work alongside your Oracle account team.

Hypercare covers a full close cycle with the delivery team still in place. After that, managed support provides close-cycle cover, quarterly Oracle update testing and an enhancement backlog delivered in sprints, staffed by consultants who already know your model.

Yes, and we prefer it. Knowledge transfer is a delivery workstream, not a closing formality. Your team joins design sessions, build reviews and testing so they can own and extend the platform after handover.
